Black is used with other colors to show their beauty and to add vivid light by showing details and strength. When black is used with hidden colors they will be more attractive. Black is used in accessories and paints, and it is a preferred color used at homes, offices, and bedrooms, to make other colors shine.
Usually black and white colors fit people with open style like modern and classy style at the same time, while keeping a comfortable atmosphere.
When black is used a lot everywhere it give a sad and negative reflection, so it is preferred to use the touch of black color to show details and light shades.
Black is not only used in living rooms, offices, or receptions, but is also being used in bedrooms, kids' rooms, and recently in kitchens and bathrooms.

نشأ أسلوب الباروك للديكور الداخلي في عصر النهضة في أوروبا ، ويتميز هذا الأسلوب من التصميم والتزيين الداخلي ، بالشكل البيضاوي للغرف والأشكال المنحنية فيها متداخلة مع الأقواس ، وهو يتميز بالإفراط في التزيين على وجه العموم . حيث يستعمل في هذا الأسلوب أو الطراز من التزيين ، الزخارف الوردية ، والأوراق النباتية ، والأكاليل ، وغيرها . وتتميز غرف المعيشة لهذا الطراز بوساعتها ورحابتها . توحي النظرة الشاملة لهذا الأسلوب التزييني وبعد اكتماله بالفخامة الساحرة والحيوية ، حيث يتطلب هذا الطراز من الديكور الداخلي انتقاء المواد المرادة والإكسسوارات بشكل دقيق وحرص شديد . من أهم العناصر الرئيسية المستعملة في هذا الطراز (الباروك) ، الحلي المزخرفة ، التزيينات الفخمة وغالية الثمن ، الألوان المضيئة مثل اللون العنابي ، واللون الياقوتي ، واللون الزمردي في غرف المعيشة ، مع استعمال الذهب المتداخل بشكل إلزامي في هذا الطراز . أما الأقمشة المستعملة في أسلوب الباروك للتزيين والديكور ، فبفضل أن تكون من المخمل لأنه يوحي بالجو الملكي داخل الغرفة . م. طارق سكيك رئيس قسم التصميم
